Faked

Ok, I admit . . . I was floored by the Opening Ceremonies. They were spectacular, amazing, breathtaking, and I loved every minute. However, today, on CNN, they were saying that the adorable little girl that sang . . . didn't really sing! They deemed that the girl that did sing "wasn't cute enough." Well, I'm sorry, but that just bugs me. Aren't the Olympics about having your BEST foot forward, not how well you can fake it? And, on top of that, the fireworks were enhanced! They said that some of the footage was shot ahead of time and then put in for the viewers at home!!! What the heck?!?!?! I feel cheated! And they want to talk about athletes and their scandals, what, you felt like you had to enhance the experience to show what'cha got? Oh baby . . . does that ever tick me off!!! It just was a dump truck load of water on my excited-ness of the Games. As Stacey would say . . . bummer, dude!

I wonder if other countries have done this type of manipulation in the past? Can China be the first?

P.S. You sure have a nice looking blogroll over there...I'm tempted to do some poking around! :)
