Wordful Wednesdays

Oooh, I have a problem! I want to play along with Wordful Wednesdays, but I can't seem to pick just one. Does anyone else ever have this problem? See, I got my computer back this past weekend. And the problem there? Nothing. Except Super Ray also loaded everything from my fried lap top, so I have pictures I forgot I had! And, some of them were exciting discoveries. I'm going to contain it to four, today. This first one is actually my crazy co-workers. We lurved us some holiday spirit! At some point I figured that since they are the closest thing I have to family, why not a family Christmas picture? And yes, we wore those headbands all day!!!
This is my baby girl at my old house. This is still one of her favorite ways to sleep, except usually she gets her head on the pillow! Hey, what can I say. She likes to be warm!
I think this was back right after M&D came back from their first mission in Argentina. If I remember right, I met them in CA and then we drove to UT. One of my most favorite places to be at Christmas time is at Temple Square. It's a tradition that goes back to me being a kid, and it was wonderful to get there to visit again. See the band-aid on Mom's chin? That was the result of chin meets pavement! Ouch . . . I'd love to do the lights again . . .not so much the trip to the ED!And finally, New Years, 07/08. I wasn't going to go out, just have a quiet night at home, and Holly convinced me to come party with them. And you know what? I had the BEST TIME! I loved this pic! This year I'm going with friends to a local FD's dance, so it should be good times for all. What about you? Any exciting plans?

Tuesday

I love January and February. I think it's because life s l o w s way down and I have some time to myself to be able to breathe! This weekend, I had Friday night to myself, and then Saturday was dinner at Annette's. See, they got smart about Christmas. Rather than argue over whose house to spend Christmas with, they do their dinner the first Saturday AFTER the holiday. Brilliant, right? And then Sunday was all for me! I got my house clean, and muffins baked! Saturday I even got the inside of the car all armor-all'd and the inside windows cleaned.

Yesterday morning I was going to do some blogging, when my computer desk decided to collapse, nearly squishing me in the process! That's ok, because Dad had a creative solution, Boss man had some spare bricks, and now all is well.

Oh, and I am back on the wagon again. I'm going to get things into shape this next year! No more Dr Pepper (this will be the hardest!), and I'm cutting waaayyy back on carbs. I did really well following a weight-watchers-esq diet, and I'm going to do it again! I remember how great it felt to be running every night, and last night, I did my first speed walking session in a LONG time. The other benefit? Britney slept like a ROCK! So, going forward I'm sure you'll hear alot about the creative/healthy meals I come up with, even though some of them are a bit . . . strange. I need accountability people, so help me out, ok? Yes, Cindy, you can yell at me again. I need it. As soon as the gym gets regular hours when school gets back in, I'm going to start back there, too, for strength training.

The funny thing is, I knew that once I was ready, I'd be in this thing gung ho. It wasn't something that LifeForce could push me into, or that anyone could guilt me into. I just had to decide that it was time for me. I know I've had some issues over the past year and a half, and I've dealt with them. Saying good bye shouldn't be that hard!! I think I was way more emotionally vested than even I wanted to realize. The past is the past though, and I am moving on, baby!!!
Speaking of moving on, I better get to it so I'm not late for work. 1 more day in '08!

Friday Fragments, Christmas Edition

What a week this has been! This is a variation of Friday Fragments. Monday, at work, was our 2nd annual Cookie exchange. We had TONS of cookies, and I have to say that Cindy's have been a hit. She stuck a Popsicle stick in a mini-milky way, and then put a ball of sugar cookie dough around it and baked it. Y u m m y! I have taken pictures, but they'll have to wait, since they are on my 'puter at home. That night we had our office Christmas dinner, and as always, we had a great time. It's always fun to get away from work and let loose a little bit. And, the prime rib didn't hurt, either!

Tuesday I was supposed to go shopping with B., but he ended up going with his Mom instead. I left work early, and went home and felt sorry for myself. This head cold is tough stuff! Wednesday was one of the highlights of the holiday season, dinner at the R. house. Food? Oh my word. There was shrimp, meatballs, hot spinach dip, cold spinach dip, veggie trays, ham, Mexican dip, cheese ball, and an assortment of desserts. Like she said, if you left hungry, it was your own fault! The best part was spending time with friends who are like family to me. K. and L. got me a beautiful, soft, luxurious flannel sheet set, and the R's, gave me a slow cooker! She laughed at me, but I had been wanting something big enough to roast a chicken in!! We laughed and laughed when B. opened his gift - a beard trimmer! I saw it yesterday though, and it's charging . . . we'll see if it gets used! He then dropped the bombshell that I was to be at his mother's house at 1 the next day . . . the first time I've been there!

Sunday I was **so pleased** (note the sarcasm!) to start getting text messages while I was still in bed! I loved the messages, but I need a Do Not Disturb on my phone! Got up, walked Britney, and cleaned my house. I then headed over to B's house. The kids had just gotten home from their Mama's, and I got to be there while they opened presents. I don't think I ever realized how much fun it is to watch kids like that! I got such a laugh out of, "Oooohh, coool!!!!! . . . . . What is it?" Awesome. B. also gave me a Crock Pot! I didn't realize I was putting out so many cooking vibes, but I was really excited about both of them. I opened my present from Sharon, Mom's cousin. Oooh, and aaahh. She is SOO crafty, and I can't wait to get a picture posted of what she did . . . . it's unreal how talented she is! It's a quilted square/wall hanging of a nativity set, and it's stunning! After more presents at his Mom's, and then dinner, I came home. Got in bed at a reasonable time, and am working today. Tomorrow will be dinner with Annette's family, and then it's back to life as normal. I'm looking forward to New Year's Eve, as I'll get to be out partying with the best of friends, again. An awesome holiday season!

Christmas Eve

Yay! Christmas is almost here, then in Stacey's words, 364 more days 'til we get to do it again. Ugh. I'm fighting this stupid cold that's going around, blech! I came home early yesterday from work, walked Britney, and then pretty much collapsed on the couch. I feel a bit better today, but will be glad to have a day off to recover! I got BJ one of these Air Hog cars. You know, the ones that will run on a wall? Wellll, the kids loved it. The dog? Not so much! I've never heard her with a bark/whine like that before! I laughed, and laughed, and LAUGHED! Is that mean? But, she seemed to be enjoying herself!

I'm playing along at:

Also, have y'all seen this group? I read about them on CNN, and decided to take a look. I bought the album! The "12 Days of Christmas" is my favorite, closely followed by "Africa". Let me know what you think!

I'm Back!

Online! Ray got my 'puter fixed . . . and I am SOOO relieved! Even better, it has all my "stuff" from my lap top.

This weekend I was sooo busy. I went with the Ramsey's to see the dancing lights in Roanoke. I hadn't ever seen something like that IRL, and it was well worth the trip. Ignore the jumpy shooting, it was rather awkward from the back of the vehicle, but this guy does a great job. He works with Annette. I can't believe people have that much time on their hands!

Saturday I got up and met with members of the Natural Bridge Speedway Auxiliary, and we helped pack and deliver Christmas Baskets for those in need. The time spent with each other was the best, as was being able to help those in need. Probably the highlight there was getting to spend a little one on one time with Laurie. That NEVER happens! There are times I wish I lived much closer to people.

Speaking of living closer to people, Sunday I got to give the best present so far. I loaded up and showed up at Msh's house. I had plotted with her Mom to make sure she'd be home, and I got to go and spend time with her and her beautiful baby girl. Tomorrow I hope to have some pictures up. I took a TON of them! S. has gotten so big!

Sunday night I dashed home, and whipped up a batch of cookies for the Cookie Exchange at work today. Bruce and the boys were there, so I went ahead and gave them their presents. The kids loved them! I was worried, since it's been a while since I had to buy gifts for kids, other than the R. clan. Tonight I may go shopping with B. What's with men who leave the shopping to the last minute?? I'm fighting a stupid head cold, and am pretty durn miserable. If I don't feel better when I wake up tomorrow, I'm going to call off the cooking on Christmas thing. No sense in passing along cooties, right? I think that one of the WORST things we do is that in the height of flu/cold season, hey, let's get together and share cooties! Ugh.

Check back tomorrow for Wordful Wednesday pictures of my weekend!

Friday Fragments

It's that time of week again! Friday Fragments, from Half Past Kissin' Time! I love this, since I can come up with a couple of sentences about just about anything. Hey, I even took notes this week!
****************************************************
Let's see. Monday when I came in, we had no computers at work. Nothing. Nada. Makes it really hard to be productive when nothing will work! Still, I had busted my tail and made cinnamon rolls for Stacey's birthday. Happy Quarter of a Century, Stacey! Even if you did call me names later . . .
****************************************************
That same Monday, we needed a document printed. Since, no computers, one of my co-workers asked me to help her with the typewriter. She didn't know how to make it work! Since when did typewriters go out of fashion? The best part was when she needed to put in a dollar amount, and she looked perplexed. "Where are the numbers?" For the record, this was NOT Stacey having issues!
****************************************************
We have got the most beautiful Poinsettia's here at work. Some of them are even yellow/red speckled, and I love them. I think they really set off the decorations and complete the look. Ah, Poinsettia, you complete me. No, not really, but . . .
****************************************************
Cub Scouts got cancelled this week due to numerous illnesses. Cindy didn't have to/get to do Britney duty. And the worst part? I think Britney is suffering Cindy withdrawal!!!
****************************************************
Last night I put the almost-finishing touches on the homemade Christmas Ornaments that I'm making. I'm really pleased that they turned out like they did. I was worried that they wouldn't form right, but they seem to be doing well. I'm even going to have to keep a couple for myself! I'm not normally a crafty person, so I'm breathing a sigh of relief!
****************************************************
One of the presents I'm most excited to be giving is coming up very quickly. I'm not going to say much more here, since I'm afraid it would let the cat out of the bag, but I'll be sure to report back! Plotting is so much fun . . .
****************************************************
This morning I didn't have to be to work until later, so I decided to walk Britney early. She went nuts! It was so much fun to see how excited she was, and she really seemed to enjoy our walk much more than usual. I guess things out of the routine can be good for person AND puppy!
****************************************************
This weekend: Christmas lights tonight, Christmas Boxes tomorrow, computer back tomorrow evening, and then Sunday is Sunday. Whew. I'll almost be glad when Christmas is over!!!

Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop

Good morning! It's time for another workshop, and I chose this prompt:

Last night it snowed buckets and you are forced to spend the entire day at home with your family...what's the plan!?!

First of all, I'm going to have to adjust this, just a little. Simply because, I don't have a family at home! But, when it does snow, it's one of my most favorite times of year. Britney goes nuts in the snow, and we have an absolute ball playing with snowballs. The hardest part for me is reigning her in, because with her bad knees, after a day of snow play she can barely walk! I love watching her IN snowfall, because she turns into a reverse Dalmatian. I remember coming out of a squad meeting to find 4-5 inches on the ground. I dashed home and got Britney. Drew was out running one of the plows, and said he couldn't figure out who the idiot was out in the snow at 9p . . . then saw Britney! Yup, I would be that idiot.

Now, when I was at home in Utah, snow fall didn't mean diddly. It was business as usual. But. Then we moved to NC, and one day they thought it might snow and they cancelled school! Brad and I didn't know what to do with ourselves! When it would snow, there would be the obligatory snow angels, snow men, snow balls, and pathetic attempts at sledding. We had a tiny hill around the corner of the house, and Brad would wear it into mud trying to get to sled on it. Then we'd get to come in and warm up with hot chocolate, and warm socks.

I have to say, I don't miss the constant cold, ice, slick, slush-y mess. What I do miss is the fluffy snow flakes, childish play, and peace that a thick snowfall brings.

Cookies!

Grocery Mama is wanting to know what kind of cookies you're making! IF I can get my hands on some peppermint extract, I want to try these!

Wordful Wednesday

I love Wordful Wednesday's. I enjoy seeing every one's pictures, as well as picking out a current favorite. But, I have a problem this week. My computer is at the 'puter hospital! So, instead, I am going to have to make do with a cell phone picture. I'll get my baby back this weekend, and I'm sure I'll have a TON of emails to catch up on!

Last night was the Rescue Squad's Christmas banquet. The squad provides the meat, and then everyone else brings a dish. I was scrambling to get there at all, let alone on time, so I whipped up some of Pioneer Woman's peanut butter cookies (the ones in the mini-muffin tin) and called it good. However. Some people have MUCH more creativity than I do. I doubt Laurie had much more time, but check out these guys! Aren't they CUTE?

She did the little noses with starbursts, and the ear muffs on the one are a red starburst and green marshmallows! How could you even think about eating them? This is one of the things that I love about the holidays - all the amazing deserts!!

Back Online

Well, kind of, anyway. From what I hear, my computer is fixed, but I won't get it back until this weekend.

This weekend I had the best experience. The NBS Auxiliary went to a local home for boys. The Auxiliary sponsors one of the cottages for Christmas, and we went up to judge the Christmas decorations of each cabin. I was so impressed with their works with these kids. At dinner, I haven't seen manners like that in years. The boys stood when ladies came to the table (wait . . . were there ladies there?? Just us girls!), shook hands, thanked us for coming, whoa. But, the best part was this one kid. He sat there and seemed to have an attitude of, "I'm here, but only because I don't have a choice about it." Trying to have a conversation with him was like pulling teeth. Finally I asked him how he ended up here in Virginia, and he said that he used to live in UT. Ah ha! Where in Utah, and it turns out I knew the area. From there it was like the floodgates opened. When we got back to the cottage, he wanted to share his pictures with me. I so enjoyed getting to meet him and spend time with him. So far, it's been the highlight of my Christmas season. I'm sure there is an upcoming event that I'm not going to talk about that's going to upstage it, but I'll let you know, after it happens!

Sunday was L's birthday party, and man, the girl cleaned up! I loved getting invited, and the food, oh . . . wow. This is why K's house is one of my most favorite places to eat!

That night I went with Heather to see "Twilight". I've read all the books, I'm totally in love with Edward, and I wanted to see if the movie measured up. Note to self: Movies never measure up. The first time I saw Edward, I was all, 'That's him?' But, by the end, I was all, 'hello, Edward!' In a nutshell, if you haven't read the book, you miss waaayyyy too much. Still, if they make 3 more, I'll be there for all three!

Friday Fragments

Good morning, and time for another edition of Friday Fragments. You know, all those random thoughts that don't qualify for a post all on their own? It's a fantastic idea from Half Past Kissin' Time, and I love it!

************************************
Monday night I attending the Fire Dept.'s business meeting. See, they're running a bit short on people willing and able to balance a checkbook, and since I'm in the financial business, they asked me to do it. Hey, as long as I don't have to go into burning buildings, and can just do the one meeting a month . . . ok. So, this means that when life is in full swing, it's Mon - Fire Dept, Tue - Rescue Squad, Wed - Cub Scouts, Thur - Ruritan's, Fri - Drag Strip, and Sat - Dirt Track. And I've always wondered why Sunday is a day of rest!
************************************
Wednesday night we made houses at Cub Scouts. The kind with Graham crackers, lots of icing, and various assorted candy and cereal. The kids enjoyed it, it was a fantastic mess, and another night down!
************************************
Last night I went to my friend K's house and helped her clean. For some reason, cleaning other people's houses is fun. My own house, not so much! Still, I enjoyed spending time with her and the rugrats, and I felt like I got something accomplished. The other side is I slept really good, too! (Thanks, C., for Britney duty!)
************************************
This morning, C. and I stopped for nutrients. Ok, not really, we stopped at the Golden Arches, but isn't caffeine a nutrient? A woman had pulled in to drop someone off, and was partially blocking the drive thru exit. There was enough room, so I went around. She gave me this evil look, like I was getting in her way! C. commented on it, even. Why is it that some people are just so . . . mean? It's Christmas! Time to wave, smile, be friendly, good will towards men (and women!)
************************************
Tomorrow Super Ray should be coming to finally fix my computer! Yay! I can do very limited things, but the best part is that he's going to be bringing a new program I want, as well as my data from my old fried lap top. If all goes well, I should have the "Forgotten Carols" by tomorrow afternoon!!! YAY! I've missed them this season!
************************************
Also, tomorrow evening, friends of mine and I are planning on going to see the Living Nativity. I've heard great things about it, and I'm really excited to see it. Camels, anyone? Also, I hear tell that there's a house in Roanoke that has a musical light display so hopefully I can get a chance to see it this year!
************************************
Finally . . . don't shoot me, but I'm still trying to fit in a trip to go see Twilight. I've read the books and can't WAIT to see it!!!

Thursday Writing Assignment

And again, I'm participating with Mama Kat this week . . . I love her blog, and she just found out her daughter is allergic to all sorts of stuff. Same thing my best friend has discovered she's allergic to. Wheat. How do you deal with that? Do you KNOW that almost everything I eat has wheat in it? And, my friend is also lactose intolerant. So, no dairy, no gluten. Y i k e s.

Anyway, on to the assignment. Worst dentist experience ever.

HA! As soon as I saw that, I knew I had to write about it. Not that it's long, and drawn out, or anything. I was seeing one dentist. I had a problem with a tooth. It needed a root canal. And then a crown. Not fun procedures, but not the end of the world, right? Except, when I went in to have the temporary put on, he mashed it up in there, and my friend drove me home. We got about 1/2 way to my house, and it fell out. So, we went back, and he put it in again. Then, the permanent crown came, and I got that put in. It lasted a week. After numerous (15+) trips back to get it put in again, and again, and again, I've given up. Fixodent puts the thing in and holds it there. The tooth on the other side had the same problem about the same time, but he told me that one didn't need a crown, just a filling. That filling broke. Then the whole tooth came off at the gum line. Now that I've consulted another dentist, it turns out that the root canals on BOTH teeth were not done completely/properly, and I get to have them done . . . again. And, the crown on the one side needs to be redone. Now, the best option is to have implants done. To the tune of about $6000. So every morning, I fix the crown on the left, and "build" a tooth out of orthodontal wax for the right. It's worked, until I get get the pennies saved to get the work done. Donations are happily accepted, if you're feeling the love!

Wordful Wednesday

Since I started dating B., there have been some changes in my life. Just a couple. But, one of the things that I've failed to realize is that it means changes for Britney, too. And, I'm not too sure she's willing to go along! Case in point:

The kids were trying to watch a movie. N. is on the other end of the couch. But, when I sit on this end, I let Britney curl up with me. I guess B. didn't realize that! Britney just helped herself right back to her regular end, and made do the best she could! Poor puppy . . . LOL

What you don't see in this photo is the time they spent playing with her BEFORE that completely wore her out!!!

Warm again . . .

The 'puter thing is really, REALLY aggravating me, but that's ok, since Super Ray is going to Save The Day. Right Ray?

Anyway, this weekend was the other 2 parades for this area. There wasn't a whole lot of other stuff going on in my life, and I loved getting to spend time with friends I don't usually get to. Heck, even A. and D. came by the house to visit! Ok, so maybe they were really just dropping off a check, but I can still pretend it was because they really wanted to see me, right?

The guy who organized the Glasgow parade put so much time and effort into it, and it really showed. That was the one parade we could throw candy at (daylight), and we had a blast doing it! Even as cold as it was, the kids had an amazing time. It wasn't the longest parade, and we threw candy at everyone. Adults, kids, dogs, police, it was awesome. This character was a trip to watch. Here he was trying to steal one of our candy buckets . . .

Like I said, one of the best parts was spending time with friends. Aren't they the greatest? I think between the two of them, they know everyone in the surrounding counties!!

We froze our tails off, but I think everyone had at least as much fun as I did. I would be remiss if I didn't say a very, very, very special thank you to Cindy, Britney's favorite letter-outer, and Carolyn, a new letter-outer for rescuing me, yet again. There's no way I could do the things I am able to enjoy without the spectacular friends that I have!

This week promises to be fairly "normal". That means that I have lots of meetings, and a little bit of free time. Hopefully, I can get some more "Christmas" done. What about you?

Friday Fragments

Mrs. 4444 at Half Past Kissin' Time (what a great blog name!) does a Friday Fragments, and I'm going to play along.

**************************************

Last night was BV's Christmas parade. We met in the FL parking lot, Laurie threw her plastic at me and told me to buy a new tree. Why? 'Cause the one on the float came off and was all jacked up. So, we got that tree, got it up, and rode to the line up in the drizzle and cold. I had the best time! We have 2 more parades this weekend.

**************************************

F. tried to get me some beads so I could try to copy this amazing craft-y tree that Sharon made. Yeah, the beads are WAY cheaper online, but because I can't plan ahead, I can't get them here in time for this Christmas. Sorry Stacey, maybe next year!

**************************************

I've been playing Super Mario Bros. 3 like crazy. I love it! I'd forgotten how much fun it is. By the way, if any of you run into a copy of SMB 2 that they would like to send my way, it would be the best stocking stuffer ever! I miss that game . . . can you believe my NES even still works? Crazy. Who needs Guitar Hero?

***************************************

My house still smells like a skunk. Not bad, but just noticeable as you come in the door. Will it never go away?

***************************************

I did a bad, bad thing. I followed a link through Facebook that a friend sent me. Yeah. I know. Say it with me . . . virus. So NOW I can't get online at home. At all. And Super Ray is stumped, but is sending me the fix-it so hopefully I can come out of withdrawals this weekend. 'Cause I got to have my PostSecret Sunday fix, ya'll! It was funny, he was reading about the virus and I was all, Yup, yup, I did that! Soooo frustrating. Thank goodness for smart and clever friends though!

Mama Kat's Writer's Workshop

So, Mama Kat does these weekly assignments, which I love. Frequently, I want to write, but can't think of what to write! This week, I'm choosing:

Are you still friends with you high school friends? Describe them.

That would be Kathi and Mendi. Two sisters, both blond, blue-eyed and gorgeous. We all went to the same church, which meant early morning seminary. There were ups and downs, but you know how it goes with time . . . you only remember the good stuff. Kathi had this yellow VW bug, and she was always so much fun . . . both of them were. Kathi was all sunshine and happiness. She was always up for an adventure, and never cared what people thought. She just was herself, and everyone loved her for it. I remember riding the bus in the mornings, with them finishing their make-up (Mary Kay, of course!)

Once we were out of high school, we found other adventures to have. Kathi was the one who really turned me on to line dancing in Maggie Valley. She also came out to Idaho to visit. And, she went to school at BYU-Hawaii. Ok, so I might have been the tiniest bit jealous! I don't talk to either one nearly as much as I would like to. Kathi has her own thing going on, with a very handsome son, and Mendi is now doing the "Happily Ever After" thing. But, every time I go home, it's like no time has passed at all. They are one of the few things that I miss about "home". Every time I go to NC, my list of "must do's" gets shorter and shorter, but a visit with Kathi is always at the top of that list.

Do you have a friend like that? I'd love to hear about them . . . and I hope it prompts you to pick up the phone and call them!

Wordful Wednesday

Hey, I do have a picture!

Our Rescue Squad president just stopped by and dropped off my service ring (5 years). Now, I've been on the squad since 2001 . . . I'll let you do the math, I'll wait. Anyway, the ring they initially ordered was . . . not pretty. I promptly put it back in the box and stuck it in my drawer. Evidently, I wasn't the only one to feel this way, so they tried it again. And, here's round 2:

I'm pleased! And, it's gold. Usually I wear silver jewelry, so I was glad to have something different. Hey, at least it's a picture for Wordful Wednesday!

5 and 5

So, I saw this on another post, and figured it would make a good post for me as well. I've been feeling very un-inspired as of late, and completely forgot about Wordful Wednesday's. I'll have to do better next week!

5 things I love about the Holidays:
1. Decorating. I love putting up my tree and seeing all the lights everywhere.
2. Food. Duh! It's when people make their signature dishes, and turkey. Yummy!
3. Christmas music. I have about 3 days worth of Christmas music on my Ipod now.
4. The Forgotten Carols This is separate from Christmas music because it is. So there.
5. Getting to spend time with friends and family.

5 things I don't love about the Holidays
1. Un decorating. My house looks so plain and blah after everything is gone.
2. Money. I hate dealing with money, and in December, there's never enough for everything.
3. Seeing the "gimme" attitude that too many people have, or worrying about getting the "it" item. Really, a month from now, kids will be wanting something else.
4. Dishes. It's the downside of all that yummy food!
5. Too much to do! I enjoy all of it, but January is a welcome break!

Pain in the Neck

Literally. Sunday I woke up. Went through my usual routine, let the dog out, turned on the computer, stretched, and pop, went that muscle right at the base of my neck, right at my shoulder. Yee-ouza. I've done this once before, so I quickly took a magic pill, Advil, and started in with the ice and heat. It helped . . . a tiny bit. At least I could kinda sorta a little bit move. I kept myself on the couch all day, and yesterday as well. Today, it's back to work, but if I move the wrong way or turn too quickly, I remember that muscle well!

Is anyone else watching "The Amazing Race"? I'm so disappointed! I wanted the mother/son team and the brother/sister team to win! Now I guess I'm cheering on Nick and Star. Team Dan-drew? How the HECK have they made it this far?? See, Msh and I would have done better than them! Crazy.

This week promises to be very full. I have Cub Scouts, a parade, am on call, have another parade, and then it's back to starting over again. What about you? Is life crazy for you yet?
