I've read numerous posts today about father's, but mine is absolutely the best!
Growing up, many of my friends were "oops" and "unexpected's" You know what? I was wanted. Desperately. I'm adopted, but have never, ever, felt the need or the desire to find my "real" parents. I've had them for the past 32 years.
My dad has taught me about just about everything I know. Here's one of my favorite pictures I took while I was in Texas. Even when we were on the safari in Africa, Dad was asking about the plants. He loves things that grow in the dirt!
Thanks Dad, for everything. From your love of twizzlers, taffy, the color purple, walking home with kittens racing around your middle, to your love of family and your testimony, thank you.
