Alright, my fellow brilliant blogger friends.
Mom asked me this question, and I HATED word math problems. Anyone have the formula or how I can get the answer?
One person was headed north, traveling at 45 mph. Person 2 was traveling south, at 53 MPH. Both traveled 1029 miles. At what TIME did the 2 people pass each other?

Hi Sheri - so nice to see you today. I called my husband to ask the formula - and if he's right he said you take 1029 and divide it in half and that is 514.5 and then you take that 514.5 and divide by 98 (45 +53 = 98) = 5.25.
I don't think you can figure what TIME they passed without knowing what time they started and if one was going north and the other south - they wouldn't pass ??????
Now ... I am thinking waaaaaaayyy to much about this math problem.
Thanks for stopping by - hope to see you soon - Kellan
